Pinot Noir 2024
Crafted from sustainably farmed fruit grown on the estate’s home block in Marlborough’s highly regarded Southern Valleys sub-region, this Pinot Noir reflects the richness and elegance that clay hillside vineyards can produce in exceptional vintages.
The nose is strikingly expressive and layered, opening with lifted violet florals and an abundance of dark sweetheart cherry aromas. Beneath the vibrant fruit lies a refined savoury complexity, where notes of new leather saddle and finely integrated French oak weave seamlessly through the bouquet, adding depth and sophistication.
On the palate, the wine delivers a fresh and juicy attack, carried by refined velvety tannins and vibrant natural acidity. The generous cherry fruit from the nose follows through beautifully, supported by subtle French oak complexity that enhances both texture and structure without overpowering the wine’s purity.
Long, complex and persistent, the palate remains energetic, vibrant and beautifully balanced throughout.
